Job Overview

As a Customer Fulfillment Specialist at Komatsu's Springville branch, you'll be the frontline connection for internal and external customers seeking parts support. You'll process orders, manage inventory, and provide expert guidance on parts selection-all while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workspace. In addition to your primary responsibilities, you'll serve as a backup for the Rental/Yard Coordinator, supporting equipment check-ins, dispatches, and yard logistics as needed.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Process customer sales orders and provide real-time status updates
  • Prepare accurate quotes including pricing, availability, and lead times
  • Interpret parts manuals and drawings to ensure correct part selection
  • Track, ship, and manage inventory with precision and efficiency
  • Receive, inspect, and process incoming freight; manage returns and credits
  • Operate material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, dollies)
  • Maintain a clean and safety-conscious work environment
  • Communicate professionally via phone, email, and in-person
  • Support after-hours on-call duties on a rotating basis
  • Assist with equipment check-in/out, including inspections and documentation
  • Support dispatch and transportation coordination for rental units
  • Help maintain yard organization and equipment readiness
  • Collaborate with service teams to ensure equipment availability
  • Provide customer support for rental inquiries when needed

Qualifications/Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service or fulfillment role, with a preference for experience in parts or logistical environments.
  • The ability to read and interpret both hard copy and electronic parts manuals, including systems like Link One and VIP, to aid in efficient order processing.
  • Proficient knowledge and usage of Microsoft Applications, enabling effective document creation and data management.
  • Strong understanding of CDK and SAP systems, acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in these software applications.
  • An overall understanding of Material Management functions to navigate complex inventory and warehousing challenges successfully.
  • Solid knowledge of inventory principles and effective inventory control methods.
  • Familiarity with safety policies and expectations to maintain compliance and a safe working environment.
  • Comprehensive understanding of shovel operations and functions to support product knowledge.
  • Strong working knowledge of company processes and procedures to execute responsibilities effectively.
  • A knack for identifying and engaging the right contacts within the organization to accomplish tasks and enhance collaboration.
