Gundersen Health System is looking for a detail-oriented and organized Office Assistant to support our Orthopedic and Neuroscience Units. The Office Assistant is responsible for providing clerical and administrative support for management and staff in the department/unit. Provides a variety of clerical and computer support to the department. Works as part of a team and frequently acts as a liaison between department staff and internal/external customers. Assists in department projects as requested. This position

What's Available:

  • Starting wage of $16.49 + more for experience
  • Full-time, 36 hours/week
  • Shifts: Monday - Friday between 7:00am - 5:00pm (8-hour shifts), no weekends or holidays
  • On-site, La Crosse Main Campus
  • Department: Orthopedic and Neuroscience
  • Tasks: Updating conference room calendars, adding daily assignment sheets to unit, entering data into a spreadsheet, delivering mail, placing and reviewing work orders, building orientation schedules, managing calendars, scheduling meetings, minute-taking, process new hire information for unit staff, producing the weekly update, and numerous other tasks as identified by leadership team that could include activities for staff, assisting with setting up for meetings/education, organizing and filing.
