As an integral member of the Rumpke Sales team, the Sales Enablement Manager is a seasoned collaborator with experience in designing and delivering highly effective sales enablement programs and initiatives focused on improving sales effectiveness, sales productivity, and overall sales results. This role will own the training strategy & delivery, eLearning content design, sales performance improvement training and sales coaching to support all sales team members. This is a highly collaborative role that involves working with key stakeholders in Sales and Sales Leadership across the various departments. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Talent and Sales Enablement, this role is focused on elevating overall sales performance by designing, developing, and delivering effective transformational initiatives and measured outcomes to support revenue performance.

Responsibilities of Position:



  • Delivery and development of high-impact Enablement Programs to improve sales capability and drive a culture of sales expertise.
  • Provide recommendations on training and talent development approaches (learning, engagement, and performance) to senior leaders and executives.
  • Deploying enablement programs and initiatives that enable Managers to coach and develop the members of their team, especially as it relates to selling and revenue performance.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of design, development, and execution of training strategy for our sales teams aligned with company priorities.
  • Facilitate training, host managerial leadership meetings, and coordinate sales training events across the company.
  • Work closely with Sales leadership, marketing, human resources, technology teams and corporate communications department to ensure sales employees receive best-in-class training.
  • Maintain strong best practices knowledge to help educate employees to develop a process-driven approach for sales manager accountability.
  • Gather requirements from stakeholders, then design and develop enablement for multiple platforms (eLearning, VILT [virtual instructor lead training], and ILT [instructor Lead Training], etc.) while determining the best, most efficient delivery methods (at times pre-recorded, other times live facilitation).
  • Develop a monthly field-observation plan to understand training gaps in outside and inside sales through ride-along, listening to recorded and live customer calls, etc.
  • Work with identified sales reps on performance improvement initiatives including classroom training, on the job training and sales coaching.
  • Become the SME to help lead the development of visually appealing, high-impact, and high-quality training content across a range of modalities (e-Learning, instructor-led training (ILT), simulations, job aides, proficiency testing, etc.).
  • Analyze the effectiveness of the training plan against stated learning objectives and modify as needed to address opportunities for improvement across the core sales roles.
  • Analyze and report on key training metrics including class surveys, costs, registration to attendance ratios, attendance to survey completion ratios, etc.
  • Ability to use data to design and measure enablement.



Supervisory Responsibility:



  • This position will not manage employees.

Experience & Knowledge Needed for Position:



  • 5+ years' experience in sales, sales leadership, and/or enablement with a demonstrated track record of successfully executing and delivering sales enablement programs
  • Understanding of coaching best practices
  • Training and facilitation capability to stand in front of a room of seasoned salespeople and train them with credibility
  • Experience training or using CRM platforms
  • Certifications in instructional design and experience in managing content authoring tools like Adobe Captivate, Articulate 360, etc. are a plus



Physical Requirements in a Regular Workday:



  • Rarely lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling a max of 10 lbs.
  • Frequently sitting/standing/walking.



Additional Working Conditions/Aspects:



  • Ability to travel between offices, as required.
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States.
  • Valid driver's license (if applicable).
  • Must successfully complete pre-employment testing.
  • Must be able to read and speak the English language.
