About the Team/Role

As a Partnership Business Analyst on the Mobility Growth partnerships team, you will have the opportunity to drive value creation and revenue expansion by supporting the growth of our strategic partnerships with key players in the Mobility ecosystem. From conducting primary research to analyzing and synthesizing data and trends to building cross functional plans, you will gain exposure to high profile initiatives and have the ability to make an impact on how we execute on revenue growth in partnerships. This role will report to our Director, Partner Strategy and Operations and will have the opportunity to work on multiple projects across the partnerships team.

How you'll make an impact

  • Market Research and Analysis: conduct market research to identify industry trends, emerging technologies, and potential partners within the mobility ecosystems, with a focus on SAAS players.

  • Partner Identification and Evaluation: support the identification and evaluation of potential partners by gathering and analyzing data related to their business performance, market position, financial stability, and strategic alignment.

  • Data Analysis and Modeling: develop and maintain business cases and ROI analyses to assess the feasibility and potential value of partnership opportunities.

  • Due Diligence Support: assist in the due diligence process by collecting, organizing, and analyzing relevant information, and identifying potential risks and opportunities.

  • Proposal Development: support the development of partnership proposals, presentations, and other materials by providing data-driven insights and clear, concise summaries of findings.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: collaborate effectively with internal teams, including sales, product, technology, marketing, legal, and finance, to ensure alignment and successful execution of partnership initiatives.

  • Project Execution: support the development and execution of partnership projects, including project planning, coordination of activities, monitoring and reporting progress, and ensuring objectives/timelines/budgets are met.

  • Performance Tracking and Reporting: develop, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for partnerships, analyze performance data, and identify best practices and improvement opportunities.

  • Change Management: assist in the change management process related to new partnerships, including organizational readiness, communication plans, training, and stakeholder engagement, to ensure partnership adoption while minimizing disruption to existing operations.

Experience you'll bring

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a business or project analyst.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering or related field preferred.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic and fast-paced matrix environment.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and interpret complex data.

  • Critical thinking and ability to distill key findings and insights for leadership presentations.

  • Proficiency in financial and process modeling, data analysis tools (e.g., Excel / Google Sheets, Tableau), and presentation software (e.g., PowerPoint / Google Slides).

  • Strong project management skills with attention to detail.

  • Experience in evaluating new initiatives, be it products/solutions, through a test and learn methodology and pilots.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Adaptability to changing business needs and priorities.

  • Demonstrated ability to take a project from initiation to outcomes.

  • Some travel may be required based on project needs.

  • Mobility (Fleet related) and associated technologies (e.g.Telematics, Data) industry experience, preferred.

  • Experience working in a fast-paced technology or SaaS environment, preferred.

  • Familiarity with mobility/data/integrations, preferred.

  • Previous consulting experience with a top consulting firm, preferred.

  • Experience with project management tools, preferred.

  • Experience presenting to senior leadership on recommendations, preferred.

The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan.
