What to Expect
The Powertrain Architecture and Modeling Team develops a comprehensive vehicle model that is utilized for vehicle architecture design, performance evaluation, and decision making. The team uses physics-based multi-domain dynamic systems modeling, big-data tools, and statistics to drive continuous improvement of existing and future products. As a member of the team, you will be responsible for the development, utilization, and validation of component and system models related to the low-voltage system. You will use the model to guide design teams in trade-off studies, facilitate multi-objective optimization, and communicate performance expectations and requirements through the engineering lifecycle of various products and initiatives. The Powertrain Architecture and Modeling Team is looking for a determined, eager individual with strong technical knowledge in distributed low voltage systems, communication architectures, and control algorithm development as well as production software development. The Low Voltage System Architecture Engineer will work cross functionally with firmware, integration, and hardware teams to drive both software and hardware efforts that optimize the low voltage system with particular emphasis on improving energy consumption while providing high-value features and a seamless experience to customers. $84,000 - $204,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
