The Marketing Assistant is responsible for maintaining product data, product images and building and maintaining customized customer catalogs, intended to drive sales in support of the Consumer Brands Division Omni-channel goals. This includes adding product, SKU and customer data to the digital catalog, along with quality assurance of information prior to delivery.


  • Product Data
    • Works closely with the rest of the E-business team to develop working relationship with other departments in the business to obtain sources of accurate product data
    • Supports the e-business team in acquiring accurate product data
    • Attends briefings on product changes
    • Keeps up to date on all products
    • Undertakes product training when require

  • MDM & STEP
    • Uses STEP, PIM and other MDM including customer's PIM/portal solutions to fulfil customer data requests
    • Works with the wider team to ensure product data is accurate and up to date
    • Supports with product data updates
    • Recommends improvements to STEP
  • SW-Mall/Widen Digital Asset Management (DAM) system
    • To ensure our DAM is well maintained, accessible and meets business requirements
    • Maintenance, filing, tagging & saving of images
    • Upload new images
    • Creating collections & developing efficient processes for retailers to access assets
    • Fulfilling retailers & internal teams asset requests
  • Projects
    • Supports the team on projects as and when required. Such as: -
      • System enhancements & retail website audits
      • Customer bespoke requirements (e.g. integrations, templates, portals)
  • Administration
    • Keeps the e-business trackers up to date
    • Supports on developing reports and presentations

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree or actively pursuing a bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience is required, preferably in Marketing, MIS, or e-Business related fields.

Required:

  • High attention to detail to ensure consistency, accuracy, and data cleanliness is achieved
  • Strong collaborative, teamwork & communication-oriented skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with experience analyzing / manipulating large amounts of data

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of CBG brand customers (including but not limited to): Amazon, Walmart, Lowes, Menards, Ace, True Value, Do-it-Best, Automotive Retailers & Industrial Distributors
  • History of working with Consumer Brands products -or- related Marketing Experience
  • Proficiency in the SW supply chain process & integral SW systems including: PIM, AOM, Business Objects, STEP, Photo Shop & Copilot
