*Description*
-Check-in patients. Verify eligibility. Update demographics. Take copays. Hand out paperwork for specific types of visits. Keep a log of payments and payment types. Balance payments before lunch and at the end of the day. -Keep lobby clean and picked up. Sanitize Lobby before lunch and at the end of the day. -Answer phones. Take messages and route them accordingly. Schedule, reschedule and cancel appointments based on providers protocols. Call patients to confirm appointments. -Monitor and work EMR in basket, voicemails, and emails. Call patients to relay messages from doctors, i.e. Patient needs to get labs done and be seen before doctor will prescribe medication refills. -Other duties as assigned. -Must be familiar with insurances, medications, controlled medications, various types of office visits, must know appointment frequency requirements by type of visit. Must be familiar with abnormal BP & Glucose ranges. Must know how to handle emergency type calls. -Pediatrics requires all of the above plus, must be familiar with pediatric wellness visit ages, must be kid friendly and have had pediatric primary care experience. *Additional Skills & Qualifications* 2 years experience within a multi-physician practice EPIC /NexGen experience preferred *Experience Level* Intermediate Level *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
