Our large banking client is looking to bring on a Governance and Compliance Testing Specialist to focuse on Financial Fraud. The position can sit remote and they are looking to review candidates ASAP. This role will entail taking test results, compiling into reports, and working with business stakeholders on removing/updating potential vulnerabilities in the environment. They are looking for someone who hasn't just done UAT testing, but someone who has more of a senior knowledge in Fraud that can look at all aspects of issues and provide recommendations on additional ways this group could be testing or enhancing their process. *Top Skills:* 1. Reg-E Experience *Description* We are seeking a detail-oriented Governance and Compliance Tester to assess and validate our organization's adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting compliance tests, identifying risks, and ensuring governance frameworks align with industry best practices. - Understand the topic that has to be tested and then create test plans, scripts, experienced in design and operational effectiveness testing and in sample testing - Communicate the results of the test plans, scripts in stakeholder meetings and can populate these results into formal reports/power point presentations - Document processes and conducted detailed procedure and requirement reviews, conducted UAT testing, SIT functional testing or QA testing would be an asset - FI Governance experience i.e. has held a role in audit, second line, compliance role (US or CDN bank or a consulting firm) - Soft skill perspective, looking for someone who is good with excel and PowerPoint, visio, can extrapolate data, and has strong communication skills *Additional Skills & Qualifications* - Develop and execute compliance testing strategies to assess regulatory adherence. - Conduct audits and assessments to identify gaps in governance and compliance. - Collaborate with teams to implement corrective actions for non-compliance issues. - Maintain documentation of compliance testing results and provide reports to management. - Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry standards to ensure continuous compliance. - Assist in the development and refinement of governance policies and procedures. - Strong understanding of governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) frameworks. - Experience with compliance testing methodologies and regulatory audits. - Familiarity with industry regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, or SOX. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication and documentation abilities. *Experience Level* Senior Level *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $80.00/hr.
