*Description*
The Director of IT Asset Management (ITAM) is responsible for the strategic oversight and operational execution of the TCH IT asset lifecycle. This includes the acquisition, deployment, utilization, tracking, and disposal of hardware and software assets. The ITAM Director ensures compliance with licensing agreements, optimizes asset utilization, and supports cost-effective IT operations. Continue to develop and lead the IT Asset Management strategy aligned with organizational goals. Establish policies, standards, and procedures for asset lifecycle management. Manage the relationship as well as the procedures and hand-offs with the managed services provider. Ensure the right governance is in place and adhered to, while working with Procurement and O&T departments to facilitate an optimal RACI for ITAM Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of IT assets (hardware, software, cloud subscriptions). Ensure accurate inventory and asset tracking using ITAM tools (ServiceNow HAMPro and SAMPro) and CMDB systems. Ensure compliance with software licensing agreements, regulatory requirements, and internal policies. Lead internal and external audits related to IT assets. Collaborate with O&T Administration, Finance and Procurement to manage IT asset budgets and forecasts. Identify cost-saving opportunities through asset optimization and vendor negotiations. Lead the relationship and processes with the IT Asset Management managed services provider; build, develop and mentor a small (1-2 staff) internal team of ITAM professionals; work cross-functionally across O&T and TCH to ensure training and compliance with ITAM processes and procedures. Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and service excellence. Partner with O&T, Procurement, Legal, and Finance to align asset management practices. Serve as the primary point of contact for IT asset-related inquiries and escalations. *Additional Skills & Qualifications* ITIL, IAITAM Certification such as Certified IT Asset Manager (CITAM), Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM) Certified Hardware Asset Manager (CHAMP), or equivalent Accuracy of asset inventory Managed Service/Vendor KPIs/SLAs Software license compliance rate Cost savings from asset optimization Audit readiness and outcomes Team performance and development Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Deep understanding of IT infrastructure, software licensing, and procurement processes. Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive change. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $90.00 - $100.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
