We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Desktop Support Technician to join our IT team. This role will be responsible for providing technical support to end-users, maintaining desktop environments, and playing a key role in the deployment and support of Windows 11 across the organization. Key Responsibilities: * Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for hardware, software, and network-related issues. * Lead or assist in the deployment of Windows 11, including imaging, configuration, testing, and rollout. * Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows 11 compatibility, drivers, and user settings. * Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals. * Support Microsoft 365 applications, VPN connectivity, and remote access tools. * Maintain accurate documentation of support requests, resolutions, and asset inventory. * Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure smooth onboarding/offboarding processes. * Provide in-person and remote support to users across multiple departments. * Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and best practices. Qualifications: * 2+ years of experience in desktop support or a similar IT support role. * Hands-on experience with Windows 10 and Windows 11, including deployment and troubleshooting. * Familiarity with imaging tools (e.g., MDT, SCCM, or similar). * Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and basic networking concepts. * Excellent communication and customer service skills. * Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. * CompTIA A+, Microsoft certifications, or equivalent experience preferred. Preferred Skills: * Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, or Zendesk). * Knowledge of scripting (PowerShell) for automation tasks. * Exposure to enterprise environments and ITIL practices. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.50/hr.
