The Senior Encryption Engineer leads first line of defense Information Security services around data protection security and related matters. They review, design and develop security operational processes, standards, and procedures utilizing current and new technologies to improve security controls and business performance. The Senior Encryption Engineer will coordinate with internal teams to implement data security solutions and improve security that is aligned with corporate business objectives and regulatory requirements. Description Technical (80%) * Tooling - Experience implementing Microfocus/Voltage/Open Text (preferred), or Protegrity * 5+ years encryption, tokenization with vaults and infrastructure, and data masking design experience * Consulting and advisory mindset supporting the onboarding and deployment * Experience with cryptography engineering across Mainframe, Cloud, SaaS, On Prem environments * Hands on engineering experience within applications (Java, Python, C etc,) to leverage UDF's for security best practice * Experience integrating restful API and how to leverage applications such as Postman API platform * Ability to write scripts to automate processes from a database encryption perspective * Working knowledge of Oracle, SQL, Mongo Database * Experience with digital security application like Thalis, Gemalto, SafeNet, etc. * Experience in all phases of tool implementation - spinning up new Linux VMs, configuration, troubleshooting, etc. Project/Change Management (20%) * Liaising with application owners and teams; helping them understand requirements and impact of tool implementation * Preparing slide decks with project updates * Building and maintaining relevant documentation * Updating project plans and Jira boards Skills security, information security, Cyptography, Data encryption Top Skills Details security,information security,Cyptography,Data encryption Additional Skills & Qualifications Self starter who can use their experience to help mature a data security program through their specialization in data encryption Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $80.00 - $90.00/hr.
