Supply Chain Planning Analyst II, Raw Material Process and Performance
The Supply Chain Analyst 2, Raw Material Process and Performance is a key member of the Supply Chain Planning organization, responsible for enhancing raw material supply planning and procurement processes. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and project management capabilities to drive the successful implementation of process improvements and system enhancements. The analyst will lead process re-engineering initiatives, leveraging multiple technology platforms including Planning Systems, Palantir, ERP Cloud, and others, to optimize performance, improve data visibility, and support strategic decision-making. The role collaborates cross-functionally with IT, Continuous Improvement, Decision Intelligence, and other business units to deliver scalable, data-driven solutions that improve efficiency, monitor KPIs, and manage costs. Essential Functions Raw Materials Supply Planning & Network Management
- Design and enhance inventory policy strategies to right-size inventory levels and streamline purchasing signals across the supply network.
- Develop purchase cost optimization models for tiered pricing suppliers to support cost-effective sourcing decisions.
- Build infrastructure for expansion of raw materials Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) programs
- Establish and integrate "Total Cost of Ownership" metrics into supplier selection and sourcing strategies.
Process Re-engineering, Improvement & Automation
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to re-engineer raw material planning and procurement processes, driving efficiency and scalability.
- Leverage applications and advanced analytics to enhance planning capabilities, while managing change across operational teams.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for optimizing existing planning systems and integrating new platforms such as Palantir, ERP Cloud, and other planning tools.
- Translate business needs into technical requirements and lead implementation efforts in collaboration with IT and Continuous Improvement teams.
- Drive automation and systematization of purchasing processes, ensuring alignment with broader supply chain and enterprise systems.
- Manage supplier-facing technology integrations to improve visibility, responsiveness, and collaboration across the supply chain.
Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Process Enhancement
- In partnership with IT and CI teams, establish and implement supplier collaboration platforms across Niagara supplier base to streamline PO communication and exception management.
- Develop a holistic approach for supplier performance measurement and management across all raw material categories.
Project Management & Cross-Functional Leadership
- Apply project management methodologies to lead initiatives from concept through execution, ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder alignment.
- Coordinate across departments to ensure successful adoption of new processes and technologies, balancing technical feasibility with business impact.
- Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and documentation to support change management and knowledge transfer.
