NCAT Campus | Full-Time | $58,926.40/year

What You'll Do:

  • Teach face-to-face hands-on labs and classroom sessions on surface prep, application, and coating technologies.
  • Keep it real by incorporating industry standards, safety practices, and emerging technologies into your instruction.
  • Develop and refine curriculum that keeps students aligned with FAA, KBOR, and WSU Tech expectations.
  • Collaborate with industry pros, vendors, and advisory teams to keep programs sharp and relevant.
  • Take pride in mentoring future technicians, helping students build both skills and confidence.
  • Champion safety, maintain high-tech labs, and help students learn with the best tools available.
  • Participate in outreach events like Open Houses and Aviation Summer Camps to recruit the next class of future-ready professionals.

Requirements

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree preferred.

Experience & Skills:

      • 3-5 years of current experience in aviation paint/coating.
      • Strong understanding of aviation assembly and surface finishing.
      • Experience training or mentoring adults a plus-but passion and people skills are even better.
      • Must meet or maintain any relevant certifications for the field.
