Capital Markets Analyst (Loan Syndication)
The position is responsible for executing Capital Markets transactions for Comerica's markets by working with business relationship managers and other members of Capital Markets to execute multi-bank and private placement transactions and assist senior members on various transactions or administrative operations.
Position Responsibilities:
Deal Team:
  • Works with the more senior members of the unit to execute on mandates won. This ranges from helping with preparing pitch books and terms sheets, due diligence, setting up the bank meetings, preparing the information memorandums, analyzing financial plans and preparing financial models as part of the syndication process.
Daily Operational:
  • Assists resolving issues in the daily activity of various syndicated loans agented by Comerica. Works with the loan group and customers on amendments, waivers, consents.
Loan Closings:
Assists the Operational team handling loan documentation. Creates funds flow statements for loan closings and works with the participant lenders.
Position Qualifications:
Minimum:
  • A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university
  • 1 year of progressive experience in Banking or the Financial Service industry
Preferred:
  • Series 7
  • Series 63
  • Series 79
Work Best Category: Category B - 3-4 days in office on designated days/1-2 days remote Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday Salary: To Be Determined Based on Individual Experience
