Senior Technical Compliance Manager Product Design & Marketing Compliance Team This is a 12-month, full-time (40 hours/week), hybrid contract role located in Seattle, WA. Summary We're seeking a Technical Compliance Manager to lead and implement a robust privacy and compliance program across Product Design and Marketing. In this role, you'll ensure global privacy standards are met while enabling innovation across digital experiences that reach millions of users. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to help reduce privacy risk, enhance operational efficiency, and maintain trust in the organization's marketing and product initiatives. Our Ideal Candidate 10+ years of experience in program or project management, ideally within privacy, security, or data governance Passion for privacy and data ethics with a strong foundation in regulatory compliance and program leadership Proficient in SQL, Spark, and comfortable discussing systems architecture with engineering teams Familiar with global privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, DMA), frameworks (e.g., ISO 27701, NIST), and privacy assessment tools Skilled in collaborating with legal, engineering, product, and marketing stakeholders Able to work independently and manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities, timelines, and cross-functional feedback Strong written and verbal communication with exceptional attention to detail Technically fluent, with the ability to understand data infrastructure and AI/ML applications in consumer marketing Job Description In this role, you will lead the development and execution of a scalable privacy compliance program across design and marketing functions. You'll partner with engineering, legal, and product teams to implement privacy-by-design, conduct data mapping and risk assessments, and translate regulatory obligations into sustainable technical and operational practices. This includes supporting internal audits, guiding incident preparedness, monitoring global privacy developments, and implementing tools and controls that align with evolving requirements. You will also contribute to broader cross-functional efforts around governance, tooling, and operational process improvement-supporting the team's ongoing success and readiness. Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience Background in privacy, data governance, product management, or compliance Preferred certifications: CIPT, CIPP/US, CISM Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP) and data governance tools a plus Additional Requirements Please include a current resume. This opportunity is located in Seattle, WA and requires hybrid on-site work (exact schedule TBD). The pay for this W-2 position ranges from $97.00 - $101.67 per hour. This position may be eligible for PTO, health and dental insurance, and/or 401(k) benefits upon meeting certain length of service and hours requirements.
