P2S is seeking a talented Electrical Design Engineer with 2-4 years of experience to join our award-winning team. Employment Type: Part-time Work Schedule: Hybrid - 3 days in-office, 2 days remote Salary Range: $108,000-$125,000, based on experience Career Level: Mid-level Location: Long Beach, CA General Responsibilities As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will support both pre-design and design engineering phases. In pre-design, you'll review existing as-built drawings, conduct field investigations, set up multi-discipline models, coordinate design schedules, perform feasibility studies, and prepare schematic designs. During the design phase, you'll perform energy modeling using tools like EnergyPro or IES VE, develop single-line diagrams and load schedules, design lighting systems and controls, and engineer normal, emergency, and renewable power systems. You'll also conduct Arc Flash, Short Circuit, and Coordination Power System Studies to ensure safe and efficient electrical infrastructure. Position Requirements: Education & Certification
