The Senior Director for Finance and Facilities is the on campus financial and business leader for the innovative and growing University of Minnesota Rochester, overseeing an annual institutional budget in excess of $34 million in collaboration with the chancellor and vice chancellors. The Senior Director reports to the Chancellor or the Chancellor's Senior Strategist designee, and indirectly to the University of Minnesota System Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. The Senior Director serves as a member of the campus leadership team, providing creative, thoughtful and values-driven management in the areas of financial and facilities oversight and planning. This position works in-person in Rochester, MN. This role is not eligible for H-1B or Green Card sponsorship. During the next three years of exponential growth, UMR will be engaged in a significant expansion of facilities, to be overseen by this position. The Senior Director equips the chancellor and vice chancellors to make critical decisions by providing reliable, timely information and system-aligned procedures. The Senior Director for Finance and Facilities oversees the experienced Business Office Director and the Director of Facilities and Operations providing priorities, project management, work direction, and general supervision.
