Job Overview
The Business ProcessAnalyst is responsible for conducting quantitative analyses of information affecting the operational and financial performance of the Supply Chain organization. TheBusiness ProcessAnalyst will provide ongoing analysis as well as ad hoc, in-depth project requests.This member will also support continuous improvement projects in the plant including but not limited to improving processes, efficiency, and productivity. The Process Design Analyst will also be responsible for developing presentations for management's review of financial and operational performance.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assembles spreadsheets, databases and creates charts and graphs used to illustrate performance trends and predict outcomes related to production line performance
- Maintains knowledge and stays abreast of developments in the fields of industrial technology, business, finance, and economic theory to develop plans of action for course correction based on financial analyses
- Interprets data affecting investment programs, such as price, yield, stability, future trends in investment risks, and economic influences
- Analyzes required line utilization data from Company systems and databases to address business requests, evaluate the effectiveness and recommend operational improvements.
- Evaluates business needs and process improvement opportunities, prepares professional business presentations and return on investment analyses, and organizes and facilitates meetings to gain leadership support
- Serves as a project lead for various process and continuous improvement projects and ensures project deadlines are met, organizes and facilitates meetings, assigns tasks, and monitors project completion
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required
- Proficient in MS Office Applications:Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word
- SAP experience required
- Ability to communicate with and influence all levels of the organization
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
- Proven continuous process improvement and project management abilities
- 2 years of consumer package goods industry experience
- Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing Experience
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (4 years)
- Knowledge acquired through 3 to up to 5 years of work experience
- Business, IT, Management
Preferred Qualifications
- Driver's license for occasional Company travel and Green Belt Certification Preferred
