Healthcare Device Collection Technician (Traveling)

Fulfils tasks necessary within our Medical Device Collection Programs for multiple hospitals nationwide.

Essential Functions & Requirements:



  • Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all times
  • Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization
  • Travel with overnight stays where needed locally, regionally, and nationally. Will be responsible for making travel arrangements, booking hotel rooms, and renting vehicles for transport.
  • Provides inspection services in client sites, including collection bin inspections, data collection via mobile app, packaging of full containers for shipment and conducting other various facility inspections as required.
  • Prepares submission of reports via mobile app detailing activities. Works with the client to achieve program efficiencies.
  • May be responsible for project billing and cost tracking operations.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies to conduct inspections
  • Receive and maintain credentials to provide service at the client locations
  • A valid driver's license is required and/or reliable personal transportation for local customer site travel scheduled.
  • All training will be provided by Company


Education:



  • High School Diploma or its equivalent required.


Knowledge and Abilities: This is a safety sensitive position. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is an essential function. Excellent interpersonal skills are necessary to effectively communicate with internal and external contacts. A high degree of time management and attention to detail are required. Ability to commit to flexible schedule that will require overnight travel. Predictable attendance is an essential function of this job. Must be able and willing to travel locally, regionally, or nationwide extensively

Vaccines/Testing Disclaimer: Healthcare Organization's require immunizations or proof of immunization records such as flu, and COVID 19, as well as certain screening testing (e.g., TB).

Physical Requirements: While the position is not overly physically demanding, extensive walking, standing, stooping, and lifting packages up to Fifty (50) lbs. may be required. Technicians may also be required to push carts loaded with collection containers during service activities.
