At Central Plateau Cleanup Company (CPCCo), located in Richland, Washington, we are working to provide a sustainable future for the historic Hanford area through the protection of the Columbia River and the remediation of the Central Plateau. As the Central Waste Complex/Waste Receiving and Processing/Low Level Burial Grounds (CWC/WRAP/LLBG) Engineering Manager you will have overall responsibility for leadership and management of assigned technical staff as well as functional leadership for the engineering process.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* Responsible for implementation of CPCCo programs/processes.
* Manage and lead a team of facilities engineers to ensure the operating health of facility systems by conducting system walk downs, system health reports, maintaining safety equipment lists, equipment spares, and configuration control drawings.
* Appoint and qualify Design Authorities/System Engineers and designers/drafters. Additionally appoint technical staff and site engineers authorized to perform engineering functions and technical work.
* Ensure designs and modifications are consistent and do not challenge the Facility Nuclear Safety Basis.
* Participate in project planning and scheduling activities.
* Participate in CPCCo Engineering leadership functions.
* Ensure documents prepared are conducted in accordance with all applicable contractual requirements, company procedures, and applicable standard code requirements.
* Frequently communicate and interact with all management levels within the project, facility, central engineering, as well as, Department of Energy, Ecology, and any other regulatory agency as necessary.
* Maintain an environment where employees are free to raise safety issues, ethical concerns, or improvement initiatives.


Basic Qualifications


* Manager Grade 21 - Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline plus 10 years of relevant experience and at least 4 years of required relevant experience must be nuclear experience.

* Manager Grade 22 - Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline plus 12 years of relevant experience and at least 4 years of required relevant experience must be nuclear experience.

The higher posted level has greater scope, complexity, authority, impact. The level offered to the selected candidate will be based on the needs of the company and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience.


Desired Qualifications


* Project management experience.
* Professional Engineering (PE) License.
* Extensive experience working in a multidiscipline engineering environment with engineering processes and procedures.


Compensation & Benefits


In accordance with the CPCCo salary determination process, CPCCo takes into consideration the level of assigned job duties and responsibilities, and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience relative to internal peers and the external labor market. CPCCo will not solicit salary history for candidates.

Expected annualized pay range based on full time schedule (40 hours per week):

* Grade 21: $123,500 - $197,650.

* Grade 22: $134,200 - $234,850.

In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for variable pay awards.
