WECA is looking for a full-time Head Start Monitoring & Compliance Manager. The Head Start Monitoring & Compliance Manager ensures the Early Head Start program operates in full alignment with the Head Start Program Performance Standards and local, state, and federal regulations. This role supports the program's strategic goals, oversees family and childcare partnerships, and maintains data systems critical to the program's success and compliance.

Living in Milwaukee Wisconsin is required for this position.

Experience working in the early childcare industry is required for this position.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with Head Start Program Performance Standards, state, and local regulations specific to Early Head Start.
  • Oversee and manage family and childcare partnerships, ensuring alignment with program standards.
  • Maintain and manage Early Head Start data systems for accurate and timely reporting.
  • Develop and implement monitoring protocols to assess compliance across Early Head Start centers and service providers.
  • Provide training and technical assistance to staff and partners on compliance, early childhood practices, and data systems.
  • Identify and address areas of non-compliance, including health and safety risks, and implement corrective actions.
  • Prepare reports on monitoring outcomes, audits, and compliance activities for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support strategic planning initiatives to enhance Early Head Start service delivery and outcomes for children and families.
  • Collaborate with community organizations and local agencies to strengthen program partnerships.
  • Ensure centers maintain safe and healthy environments in compliance with Early Head Start standards.

Education & Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field.
  • Knowledge of Early Head Start Program Performance Standards and state licensing requirements.
  • Experience in early childhood education, compliance, or monitoring roles.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills, with proficiency in data management systems.
