This position will work a hybrid schedule which includes a combination of working both onsite at Hillcrest and remote. Onsite 3 days a week.

DESCRIPTION

A Full Stack web developer is responsible for design, develop, and maintain both the front-end (client-side) and back-end (server-side) of web applications, encompassing UI/UX design, database management, and API development. Should be able to create visually appealing and user-friendly websites that perform well across different devices and browsers; they may also work on back-end development using languages like C# within .Net Framework to manage database interactions and server-side logic. Have good understanding of object-oriented programing and relational database. Additionally, having experience in report writing and data visualization is plus.

Front-end development:

  • Designing and implementing user interfaces (UI) and user experience (UX)
  • Writing clean and optimized HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code
  • Ensuring cross-browser compatibility
  • Creating responsive designs for various devices

Back-end development (depending on the role):

  • Developing server-side logic using languages like C#
  • Managing databases and data interactions
  • Building APIs to connect front-end applications to back-end systems

Other tasks:

  • Collaborating with designers and other stakeholders to understand project requirements
  • Testing and debugging code to ensure functionality and quality
  • Optimizing website performance for speed and scalability
  • Implementing security measures to protect user data
  • Staying updated with the latest web technologies and trends
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Six (6) years of related experience, education/training, OR a Bachelor's degree in related area plus two (2) years of related experience/training. Related experience: front-end and back-end web development.

  • Knowledge of secure software development.

  • Intermediate skills associated with the design, development, modification and deployment of software, including object-oriented programming concepts.

  • Knowledge of other IT related areas.

  • Demonstrated software repository skills.

  • Experience with common programming tools.

  • Demonstrated ability to follow software specifications.

  • Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate technical information to technical and non-technical personnel at various levels in the organization.

  • Self-motivated and works independently and as part of a team. Able to learn effectively and meet deadlines.

  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Previous experience with large health system or workforce development program.

  • Web Development experience.

  • Bilingual Spanish.

  • Experience in report writing and data visualization.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS
  • Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.

Pay Transparency Act

Annual Full Pay Range: $63,800 - $111,600 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)

Hourly Equivalent: $30.56 - $53.45

Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
