Job Description The Executive Director of Procurement and TPRM will be responsible for developing and guiding the sourcing and purchasing strategy in accordance with Northwest Bank business goals. This role will oversee sourcing process, supplier relationship management and development, supplier quality management & commodity management. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in procurement strategy, contract negotiation, third-party risk, and regulatory compliance within the financial services industry.
Essential Functions * Develop and execute a comprehensive procurement strategy aligned with bank's business objectives * Lead sourcing initiatives, contract negotiating, and supplier performance management across all categories * Drive optimization and portfolio management initiatives to enhance procurement efficiency, cost savings, and supplier performance * Collaborate to align procurement strategies, ensuring consistency and maximizing synergies across regions and markets * Foster strong collaboration across functions such as technical & production, finance, supply chain, and legal, to ensure alignment and integration of procurement strategies and initiatives * Oversee the development and implementation of analytics and digital solutions to enhance procurement processes, data-driven decision-making, and supplier relationship management * Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the procurement function, driving functional development initiatives, talent management, and capability building * Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage * Monitor and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness and impact of procurement initiatives, providing regular reports and insights to senior leadership. Deliver value through cost and process improvement initiatives to multiple business units in accordance with established targets * Monitor and evaluate performance across Northwest Bank, reporting progress to the senior leadership team * Provide strong leadership and guidance to the team, setting clear expectations, providing regular feedback, and ensuring their professional growth and development * Lead and manage a diverse team across multiple areas, fostering a culture of inclusivity, collaboration, and high performance * Collaborate with Legal, Risk, and IT to assess and monitor third-party risks throughout the vendor lifecycle * Lead internal and external audits and regulatory examinations related to third-party oversight
Additional Essential Functions * Ensure compliance with Northwest's policies and procedures, and Federal/State regulations * Navigate Microsoft Office Software, computer applications, and software specific to the department in order to maximize technology tools and gain efficiency * Work as part of a team * Work with on-site equipment
Additional Responsibilities * Complete other duties and special projects as requested by management
Safety and Health for Supervisors with Direct Reports * Provide leadership and positive direction for maintaining the safety and loss prevention program * Actively participate in and support employee participation in the safety and loss prevention program by ensuring that employees know how to properly report a safety issue, making sure that all accidents are promptly reported to Human Resources and documented, and ensuring that prompt action is taken whenever workplace hazards are identified * Help implement emergency procedures

Education Bachelor's Degree Business, Finance, Accounting or Supply Chain Management
Work Experience 12 - 15 years Sourcing, Purchasing or Material Management 12 - 15 years Leadership & Managerial Experience
