Great Hill is seeking a Project Manager in Washington, DC. The project manager will oversee a small team that will provide Security Cooperation and Security Assistance program management support. This support includes Foreign Military Sales (FMS), Foreign Military Financing (FMF), Maritime Security Initiative (MSI) and Bureau of International and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) case development and management, technical and administrative support, as well as support to the USCG's Non-Proliferation (NP), Export Controls and Border Security program.



  • Single Point of Contact: The Project Manager is the main contact for the Contracting Officer (KO) and Contracting Officer Representative (COR).
  • Availability: Must be reachable by phone from 0800-1700 ET, Monday-Friday, and respond to technical issues within two days.
  • Monthly Status Reports: Submit a summary report of work, progress, schedule, travel, and any concerns or recommendations to the COR and KO by the 15th of each month via email.
  • Status Meetings: Meet with the COR every two weeks to review progress and address technical issues.


Basic Qualifications:



  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience managing multi-discipline teams in support of Government contracts.
  • Bachelor's degree and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills.


Preferred Skills:



  • Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, etc.)
  • Experience in program management or as a project lead is required.
  • Advanced experience in related security cooperation areas and programs, such as BPC programs - military requirements and capability development, and Global Train and Equip programs through the FMS process.
  • Must be knowledgeable and experienced with the Security Cooperation Information Portal (SCIP); the Defense Security Assistance Management System (DSAMS); SOCIUM; and able to facilitate the training and onboarding of other contract team members.
