TheCompliance, Privacy, & Ethics Coordinatorwill report to the Compliance leadership team and provide administrative and operational support for Availity's Compliance, Privacy, and Ethics Program. This role is ideal for recent graduates or professionals with some organizational experience looking to build a foundation in compliance, privacy, and ethics program operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and able to manage multiple tasks in a highly regulated environment.

This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, and a proactive mindset. Familiarity with healthcare regulations or compliance processes is a plus, but not required. This is a great opportunity to grow within a collaborative, mission-driven team.

To be qualified for this position you:

  • Have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Program Management, Legal Studies, or a related field. (Demonstrable experience may be considered in lieu of education.)
  • Have 1-2 years of relevant work or internship experience in an office or program support role.
  • Possess strong attention to detail and excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
  • Communicate effectively-both verbally and in writing.
  • Can work independently and follow through on assignments with minimal supervision.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

You will set yourself apart with:

  • Experience or interest in healthcare compliance, privacy, or regulatory affairs.
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA) or a willingness to learn.
  • Experience with project tracking tools or document management systems.

You will be:

  • Providing general administrative support to ensure efficient processes and procedures in support of the program.
  • Scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, taking notes, and following up on action items.
  • Helping identify process improvement opportunities and contributing to standardizing workflows.
  • Gathering content from stakeholders to update routine presentations.
  • Preparing and organizing policies for annual review, updates, and signatory processes.
  • Supporting the incident intake process by logging inquiries, assisting with documentation, and performing follow-up.
  • Monitoring shared inboxes and triaging communications to appropriate team members.
  • Collecting and organizing materials and data for program use (e.g., surveys, training, audits, certifications).
  • Assisting with program projects and communications.
  • Maintaining accurate records of program activities.
  • Assisting with internal website maintenance.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Video Camera Usage:
