OT will be mandatory Responsibilities: Follows all policies and guidelines regarding workplace safety and product quality. Successfully completes all site-specific training regarding safety and quality. Receives components or items for assembly and/or test in programmed sequence Assembles mechanical or electrical components by means of sensitive hand and equipment coordination Assembles all variations of in-house standard products Follows assembly/test instructions, e.g. color code, wire coding, pvc solvent welding and thread taping. Uses simple hand or power tools along with uncomplicated jigs and fixtures Enter work hours in ERP system (Currently SAP), if applicable to site Completes required documentation relative to production and quality Drives continuous improvement process and conducts daily housekeeping/5S audits to ensure continuous improvement activities. May read and interpret blueprints and schematic prints (product specific) Maintains equipment and area in a clean safe condition Will plumb variations of standard and custom products Occasionally assist with in house plumbing mechanical work Uses simple hand or power tools along with complicated jigs and fixtures Update and redline drawings as required Requirements: Minimum 6 months' relevant experience required. Mechanical, electrical and pneumatic experience a PLUS Ability to troubleshoot and rebuild Ozone generators highly preferred Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematic prints Proficient in the use of hand tools High school diploma or GED |
