Genesis10 is seeking an Insurance Document Associate role. This is a 12+ month contract position located in Milwaukee, WI. The shift is Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. CST.

Compensation: $15.00 - 16.00 per hour.


Responsibilities:


  • Examine incoming mail to ensure it has reached the accurate destination
  • Re-routing any misdirected mail to the accurate area
  • Responsible for officially identifying/acknowledging receipt of all incoming mail (paper, faxes, emails, checks, fingerprinted contracts).
  • Will need to ensure checks are valid.
  • Report information to the underwriter, verifying required information and completing associated forms, responsible for identifying when to raise problems/exceptions to the Team Leader or Manager
  • Receiving and slotting mail for distribution
  • Responsible for completing underwriting and / or claims document review and audit by appropriately identifying and analyzing various types of applications and documents for all product lines by using detailed procedures and appropriate job aids
  • Review the work for high priority insurance, mail, and / or claim documents
  • Ability to recognize and identify misrouted forms and documents and route them appropriately. Coordinates the documents according to the guidelines for the type of product



Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years prior mail experience or customer service
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • A fast-paced worker and has strong attention to detail.
  • Strong ability to coordinate and prioritize work under tight time constraints
  • Experience with checks preferred.
  • Basic PC proficiency
  • Ability to work independently within established policy standards and procedures
  • Strong team worker with proven ability to work effectively and collaboratively
  • Ability to handle confidential information in a manner consistent with privacy laws and regulations
  • Ability to multi-task, navigate using various systems
  • Must be able to lift 15-20lbs consistently
