Job Description

Job Summary:


Be a critical member of the corporate tax team within a fast growing publicly traded technology company with global operations! You will prepare and report critical tax matters including the corporate tax provision and internal tax reports for federal, state, local, and property filings. You will also have the opportunity to work with a 3rd party provider preparing the corporate tax returns.



Job Responsibilities:



  • Preparing quarterly income tax provision -- process includes calculation, internal review, audit review, and documentation
  • Managing annual Federal, State, and international income tax return filings -- includes preparation, coordination with outside tax advisors, review, and documentation
  • Tax due diligence support for M&A opportunities
  • Preparing the calculation of quarterly estimated income tax payments for Federal and various states
  • Prepare data to support the annual research and development tax credit
  • Prepare documentation to support internal transfer pricing arrangements
  • Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual non-income tax returns (sales, property, excise, etc.)
  • Resolving federal and state tax related notices
  • Working with finance to provide monthly tax forecasts
  • Serving as an effective interface between the tax group and the accounting and legal departments
  • Driving significant projects, programs and business initiatives using demonstrated creativity and ingenuity
  • Networking with key contacts internally and externally outside of tax
  • Serving as specialist on complex technical and business matters


Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Accounting
  • Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of related work experience, specifically with federal and state tax compliance and tax provisions
  • Knowledge of permanent and temporary Schedule M adjustments and utilization of tax research methods
  • Familiarity with financial statement footnotes and disclosures
  • Experience with domestic tax audits
  • Ability to interact with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively


Preferred Qualifications:



  • CPA preferred
