Nurse Practitioner Physician Assistant Radiation Oncology Part Time 20 hrs Days

This is a newly created position where the NP or PA will support a Clinical Research Physician. CNS Cancer Experience Preferred .GENERAL SUMMARY:

• The Specialty/Invasive Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) will work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
• The NP or PA will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, education, consultation, and care coordination as a first line provider to patients and their families.
• Provides inpatient and/or outpatient medical care.
• Works in collaboration with attending physicians, advanced practice providers, consultants, house officers, nurses, and other members of the medical care team to ensure that patient outcomes are achieved safely and efficiently.
• Specific procedures as per credentialing as indicated by training and experience.
