Configuring hardware to make sure there is connectivity and users can log-in to machines/perform operations of the device. *Job Description* Our client is looking for 1 desktop field technician as a backfill on their Epic HW readiness project to prepare for their go-live. The client will be migrating from their current EMR to Epic in Nov 2025 to be consistent with EMR. The client needs this resource to assist in the deployment phase, and they will need to assist in monitor and hardware swaps, imaging and deploying machines including laptops, desktops and tablets, deploying printers or scanners, testing the systems to make sure they are operational and help with any log on issues and will be able to escalate any issues that they cannot handle. This will involve communication across the project team (PM, Technicians, practices, internal Epic Tech team and/or internal Desktop and Network Infra teams). They will need to make appropriate updates into the asset inventory tracker on machine and user info. Deployment is scheduled to finish end of September, but there is potential for extension. Needs a personal vehicle - the work will be completed at the hospital in Oceanside, a large facility in Hicksville, and 28-30 remote sites in and around predominantly the Nassau County area that includes Baldwin, Freeport, Merrick, and more.
