Make an Impact! The Epic application analyst-Senior Pharm is responsible for the development, support and ongoing maintenance of the EHR and supporting integrated areas (if applicable). The analyst assists in optimizing workflow processes through building applications that are standardized to meet the health system needs. The analyst will be required to maintain Epic certification for the application(s) they support. The position will require strong communication and analytical skills to interpret appropriate clinical and non-clinical requests. The Analyst will review and implement new application features for upgrades and apply special update packages, along with enhancement requests and ticket resolution.
Pharmacy Specific Essential Accountabilities

- Assists with the planning, implementing, testing, training and support of assigned clinical information systems related to Pharmacy IT Support.
- Provides support of multi-user Pharmacy based applications, including system build, facility-based formulary management, system configuration, training, maintenance, and support of these systems.
- Represents IT and Pharmacy on the System Pharmacy and Therapeutics as it relates to Physician order set, medication formulary and clinical system implications.
- Responsible for maintenance and build of clinical and formulary information in Pharmacy information and automation systems along with assuring compliance with regulatory agencies.
- Responsible for table file build, routine order set management, system set-up procedures, and ongoing maintenance and support of all Pharmacy systems and the integration with automation and other clinical applications

Position: Epic Application Analyst-Senior Pharm
Shift: Day shift. Hybrid-Once a month and as needed. Must be local to Radnor, PA office.
Experience:
1. Minimum of 5-7 years recent healthcare information systems or clinical management systems experience. Epic experience preferred. Large scale healthcare systems planning and implementation experience on application software products.
2. Familiarity with Pharmacy formulary distribution and billing systems. Working knowledge of computerized reference databases such as MicroMedex, Clinical Pharmacology, Facts & Comparisons
3. Working knowledge of applicable pharmacy order entry and dispensing automation systems.
4. Experience with other pharmacy systems a plus.
5. Up-to-date knowledge of drug laws and agency regulations, including but not limited to DEA, FDA, OSHA, TJC, PA DOH, and Pennsylvania Board of Pharmacy
6. Up-to-date knowledge of drugs carried on Formulary and new drugs introduced to the market
Education:
Bachelor of Science, Pharmacy, degree from an accredited university program required. Advanced training or master's degree in Information Services preferred.
Licensures/Certifications:
Current Epic certification(s) and/or appropriate certifications as defined by role (if applicable to application (s) or must be willing to travel for training and achieve certification within 90 days of completed testing.
Pennsylvania pharmacy license or eligibility for one within probationary period, and in good standing with the Pennsylvania Board of Pharmacy required.
