As an Assurance Staff, you will perform financial statement audits, reviews, compilations, and other attestation engagements under the supervision of more experienced professionals across a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, oil and gas, professional services, health care, governmental, wholesale/distribution, financial institutions, and nonprofit organizations. You'll contribute to meaningful projects, develop your technical knowledge, and begin building a rewarding career in public accounting-where your growth matters as much as your performance.

What You'll Do

* Perform audit and assurance procedures with attention to detail and a high level of quality
* Actively live out HT3 values and uphold the firm's professional service standards
* Research and analyze financial statement issues using relevant digital tools and resources
* Communicate results, findings, and opportunities clearly to team members and clients
* Carry tasks through to completion with accuracy and accountability
* Develop problem-solving and planning skills by identifying and proposing solutions
* Utilize assurance software and stay current on relevant computer applications to optimize efficiency
* Understand the economics of job performance and operate within firm and client budgets
* Attend and participate in Level 1 and 2 assurance training programs
* Work toward CPA certification (required for promotion to Manager level)
* Participate in professional and business organizations, staff recruiting activities, and client development events as assigned
* Maintain positive and constructive relationships with clients and internal teams
* Travel as required to serve clients across locations
* Maintain independence, integrity, and compliance with the Firm's quality control standards
* Achieve chargeable hours between 1,400 and 1,500 annually within the context of a 2,250-hour work year

What You Bring

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related business field (Accounting preferred)
* Compliance with or working toward the 150-hour requirement preferred
* Public accounting internship or 6 months-2 years of relevant experience preferred
* Understanding of generally accepted auditing standards, accounting principles (FASB, GAAP, OCBOA), and industry-specific rules
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
* Experience with paperless assurance software, Caseware, and RSM methodology is a plus
* Commitment to meeting deadlines and producing high-quality work
* Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team setting
* Desire to grow professionally while making a difference through service
