Description

Summary / Position Purpose:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Receptionist/HR Admin to support our Human Resources department with daily administrative tasks and projects. This entry-level role is ideal for someone looking to start a career in HR and grow within the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a passion for supporting employee programs and services.

Essential Duties, Functions and/or Responsibilities:



  • Greet and assist visitors in a professional manner - handle the directory for the NRH office
  • Receive/Ship packages and check/deliver mail to appropriate parties
  • Assist with general office duties as required- managing office supply inventory and orders, making coffee, submit maintenance tickets as needed through maintenance portal, turning on/off common area touch board devices and prepping/cleaning up conference rooms as needed.
  • Answers phone in a timely, courteous manner as well as directs calls to appropriate person
  • Keeps reception area, break rooms, and conference rooms clean and free of used cups/glasses/cans/trash, etc.
  • Schedule meetings, interviews, and HR events as needed
  • Draft and proofread HR communications, memos, and reports
  • Assist with filing, data entry, and document scanning
  • Assistance in project management with the HR Representative/Team
  • Support logistics for onsite meetings at site and work with HR representative and/or EA Team on planning and executing team meetings at the site
  • Assist in onboarding processes including new hire paperwork, orientation scheduling, and file creation
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee information at all times
  • Indirectly and directly responsible for product quality
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:



  • High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or a related field preferred
  • 1+ year of administrative or office experience preferred; HR internship or related coursework a plus
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, with strong emphasis on Teams and Outlook
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems (Paycom or other) is a plus
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion


Physical Requirements:



  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. when necessary
