This is a hybrid work opportunity, which requires the successful candidate to work and attend meetings in the South Portland office on a consistent and regular basis.

Summary:
Responsible for managing the centralized preboarding functions supporting MaineHealth Medical Group (MHMG)'s recruiting and preboarding for all providers system-wide. Acts as the liaison with all levels of staff managing and involved with provider credentialing, payor enrollment, medical staff, and those involved with provider new hire orientation and engagement. Trains and supervises direct reports, who are the preboarding staff within the MHMG Provider Recruitment Center. Prepares and supervises the preparation of offer materials for MHMG candidates and manages the tracking and processing of candidate outcomes and decisions. Plans and oversees processes so that preboarding, privileges, HR-related and credentialing deadlines are met, measured, analyzed, evaluated and reported.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: Bachelor's Degree in health care or related field preferred.
  2. License/Certifications: N/A
  3. Experience: 3+ years of program coordination or related work experience, preferably in a healthcare environment. 1-2 years of supervisory or management experience preferred.
  4. Excellent planning, problem-solving, time management, organizational and project management skills. Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
  5. Experience using data analysis to inform strategic planning and in preparing reports and metrics.
  6. Ability to effectively interact with physicians, APPs, candidates, leadership and other staff at all levels of the system, in addition to external vendors and parties.
  7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
  8. Demonstrated experience in working with matters involving confidentiality and diplomacy, and experience managing tight deadlines and competing priorities.
