Based in Northern, VA, Axiologic Solutions LLC has opportunities for you to become part of our high-quality team that delivers innovative solutions to key federal clients. We are currently seeking an Information Technology Engineer with Requirements Management background to provide support as required to the Desktop Requirements Team and over-arching Engineering and Implementation team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in one or more IT Engineering disciplines to support the Requirements. Ability to work directly as an IT engineer and interface with multiple personnel is a definite plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Report to lead of Engineering and Implementation/Requirements and Business Case Analysis team.

  • Plan, generate, and maintain Requirements Management documents, plans, life cycle processes and procedures.

  • Perform requirements gathering, analysis, binning, validation, and clarification; draft and deliver Business Case Analysis reports.

  • Responsible for management and maintenance of project requirements documents.

  • Responsible for implementing and maintaining requirements data base

  • Coordinate with sponsor and IC agency government and contractor technical and management personnel in regard to requirements support.

  • Coordinate with Sponsor and other IC agency government and contractor engineering personnel in support of the implementation of desktop environment requirements.

  • Coordinate, interface, & support Sponsor and other IC agency government and contractor IT engineers including working side-by-side with or independently as an additional IT engineering resource.

  • Other tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  • Must have an active/current TS/SCI and ability to pass CI Poly.

  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent training/experience

  • Minimum of 10 years IT experience.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal, management, and organizational skills.

  • Strong research, analytical, and editing skills.

  • Demonstrated analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills

  • Good knowledge of IT Services and service provision.

  • Ability to work independently

  • Strong engineering background in Information Technology

  • Demonstrable experience in Requirements Management

  • Business architectural, analysis and planning skills

  • Business communication skills

  • Excellent creative problem-solving skills

  • Working knowledge of MS Office products such as Word, Excel, Project, SharePoint, Visio

  • ITIL v3 Foundation Certification desired.

  • Experience with desktop operating systems and/or software application virtualization desired.

  • Familiarity with Vitech's CORE MBSE software is a plus.

Travel Requirements:

  • Travel may be required within Washington National Capital Region (NCR) on an as - needed basis for customer or corporate requirements.

Level of Responsibility:

  • Work includes the exercise of discretion and independent judgment concerning matters of administrative/operational needs.

Reporting Chain:

  • This position reports directly to Axiologic Solutions' assigned Task Order Lead.

Level of Supervision Required:

The supervisor sets the overall objectives and resources available. The employee plans and carries out the assignment resolves most of the conflicts, coordinates work with others and interpret policy on own initiative. The employee keeps the supervisor informed of progress, potentially controversial matters, or far-reaching implications.

Work Environment:

  • This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate within a team environment.

  • Ability to type, sitting or standing, to complete work functions for hours at a time; ability to move between sitting, standing and walking on a frequent basis.

  • This is a full-time position, requiring 40 hours per week on site, Monday through Friday, within the contract hours of 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
