ISSM

BlueWater Federal is looking for an ISSM to lead security improvement actions and guide program compliance with RMF and Navy cybersecurity directives throughout all system lifecycle phases at the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), Philadelphia, PA

• Manage communication between ISSOs, Validators, Program Managers, and system owners to ensure efficient RMF workflow and timely submission of high-quality authorization packages.
• Monitor and report system status in DADMS, DITPR-DON, VRAM; support assessments, identify noncompliance patterns, and direct remediation strategies.
• Track Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) through resolution, ensure vulnerabilities are mitigated or documented appropriately, and verify risk posture reporting aligns with organizational priorities.
• Perform QA reviews of RMF submissions, develop corrective action plans, and support internal and external cybersecurity inspections and audits.

• Master's degree in computer science, information technology, or an equivalent science, technology, engineering & mathematics (STEM) degree from an accredited college or university.
• 8+ years of experience coordinating with various levels of an organization to oversee and manage information security program implementation within the organization or other area of responsibility.
• Must have an active Secret clearance
• Must have managed cyber strategy, personnel, infrastructure, policy enforcement, emergency planning, security awareness, and/or other resources.
• Must have one of the following IAM-II certifications: IAM-II:
• Certified Authorization Professional (CAP)
  • CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (Continuing Education) (CASP+ CE)
  • Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) (or Associate)
  • GIAC Security Leadership Certification (GSLC)
  • Certified Chief Information Security Officer (CCISO)
  • HealthCare Information Security and Privacy Practitioner (HCISPP)
