Job Title: Staff IT Analyst II - Endpoint Asset Management Analyst
Location: Block 23
What you'll do: As the Staff IT Analyst II - Endpoint Asset Management Analyst, you will oversee the lifecycle of desktop support assets, including computers, laptops, printers, and hardware peripherals. You'll ensure accurate inventory tracking, efficient deployment, and timely maintenance of IT hardware to support business operations and end-user productivity. You'll lead activities to review current processes and metrics that support operational effectiveness, identify constraints or opportunities that inhibit or accelerate the business and/or technology strategy, while also developing potential options/approaches to improve business outcomes. You'll also lead development and review of artifacts to ensure they accurately describe current state processes, practices, and/or metrics, while also ensuring the documentation of any alternative processes or practice options with associated impact on KRIs, KPIs or Operational Metrics. Additionally, you'll identify and facilitate discussions with IT, Product, and the Business subject matter experts, to understand the problem statement and/or opportunity while also capturing any relevant insights to include a full review of the findings or artifacts produced to validate the right problem or opportunity is being assessed.
- Design, build, and maintain dashboards and KPIs using ServiceNow Performance Analytics.
- Assist and participate in the management of end-to-end IT procurement processes, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and purchase order management.
- Maintain and update the IT asset inventory, including desktops, laptops, monitors, printers, thin clients, and other peripherals.
- Coordinate and/or perform physical inventory audits.
- Collaborate with desktop support teams to ensure timely setup, imaging, and delivery of equipment to end users.
- Monitor hardware performance and coordinate warranty claims, repairs, or replacements as needed.
- Support license optimization and audit readiness.
- Ensure all physical stockrooms are organized and maintained in accordance with established layout policies and compliance standards.
- Maintain accurate asset records and ensure data integrity in ServiceNow HAMPro.
- Develop and automate reports to track asset performance, compliance, and cost savings.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Engage with service owners and stakeholders across Infrastructure, Desktop and Vulnerability management to evaluate and improve asset management processes.
- Collaborate with ServiceNow team members to resolve issues with incorrectly structured CI metadata.
- Develop and communicate Asset Management Policies and represent them during audits.
- Develop list of critical documentation and artifacts to meet project objectives and complete development of high-quality deliverables, while effectively communicating any relevant learnings, findings, or impacts, with the subject matter experts.
- Monitor trends and performance metrics to support strategic decision-making.
- Leverage Risk Management experience from a large financial institution subject to heightened standards, specifically in risk, compliance, or corporate governance.
- The capture and upkeep of KRIs, KPIs, & Operational Metrics, as necessary.
- Report asset and CMDB metrics to IT Leadership.
What you'll need:
- 5+ years of related experience.
- Bachelor's degree in related field required.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow, particularly Performance Analytics, SAMPro, and HAMPro.
- ITIL certification or familiarity with ITIL practices.
- Knowledge of procurement and financial processes related to IT assets.
- Entry level to intermediate knowledge of general Financial Services or Banking is preferred.
- Entry level to intermediate knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
- Intermediate to advanced experience in process and data analysis within a specific domain or functional area utilizing critical thinking skills.
- Intermediate to advanced working in Microsoft Office & relevant Diagramming Software (e.g. Lucid, Visio, etc.), as well as technical aptitude & experience within a specific domain.
- Intermediate speaking and writing communication skills.
- Occasional travel required.
