We are seeking a Performance Management Specialist to play a critical role in establishing the foundation for the success of IPS employees across 100 locations. In this position, you will support the design, execution, and optimization of the organization's performance management systems. This role is integral in ensuring that performance evaluations are carried out effectively, aligned with organizational goals, and result in actionable development plans. The specialist ill work closely with HR, team leaders, and employees to foster a high-performance culture through consistent goal setting, regular feedback, and targeted development initiatives. Responsibilities & Expectations:

Performance Review Process Management:

  • Oversee and manage the annual and quarterly performance review cycles, ensuring reviews are completed on time and aligned with organizational timelines
  • Prepare performance evaluation materials and documentation for managers and employees
  • Ensure performance reviews align with job descriptions, competencies, and organizational objectives
  • Train and support managers in conducting effective performance appraisals and providing constructive feedback

Goal Setting & Tracking:

  • Collaborate with managers and employees to establish clear, measurable performance goals that align with business objectives
  • Monitor and track employees' progress toward achieving performance goals during review periods
  • assist in implementing and tracking individual development plans based on performance review outcomes

Employee Engagement & Feedback:

  • Conduct surveys to collect feedback from employees and managers on the performance management process
  • Address concerns or issues raised by employees or managers regarding performance evaluations and work to resolve them promptly
  • Develop action plans based on employee feedback to enhance the performance management system continually

Training & Development:

  • Develop and deliver training for managers and employes on performance management best practices, feedback delivery, and goal setting
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions to ensure a thorough understanding and effective implementation of performance management processes throughout the organization
  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers on handling performance-related challenges and creating improvement plans
  • Assist with tracking and reporting for grants tied to workforce development and training outcomes
  • Support the implementation of competency and skill models while maintaining and enhancing tools used for career story development and career mapping

Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay current with industry's best practices, tools, and trends in performance management
  • Suggest and implement improvements to performance management processes and tools to align with business needs and objectives
  • Work closely with HR and leadership to identify performance gaps and propose solutions to enhance overall organizational performance

Qualifications and Competencies:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in performance management, HR, or a related field
  • In-depth knowledge of performance management frameworks, goal-setting methodologies, and employee development strategies
  • Demonstrated project management and time management skills
  • Continuous improvement mindset
  • Strong research, planning, data gathering, and analysis skills
  • Strong organizational skills are necessary to schedule, prioritize, and complete work assignments
  • Effective communicator; written, verbal, and active listening
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively and adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
