About the Job

Position Overview
This multifaceted role supports the academic and operational functions of the University of Minnesota's Pharmacy program, acting as a central hub for curriculum coordination, student and faculty support, and logistics. With a focus on organization, communication, and service, this position ensures a smooth and supportive educational environment across campuses.

The Professional Education Division (PED) provides the infrastructure to support all aspects of the education mission of the College of Pharmacy. This includes the development and progression of professional pharmacy students, along with the design, development, maintenance, and implementation of the professional Pharm.D. curriculum. The Professional Education Division consists of the following units: 1) Curriculum Operations (CO); 2) Experiential Education (EE); 3) Pharmaceutical Care Learning Center (PCLC); and 4) Interprofessional Education (IP).

Duties and Responsibilities-

Administrative Curriculum Operations Support (40%)
* Primary point of contact for day-to-day operations for the pharmacy program; triaging requests in a friendly and timely manner.
* Effectively manage and implement multiple administrative responsibilities
* Ensuring accuracy while scheduling rooms for the pharmacy program across multiple campuses
* Schedule block team meetings
* In partnership with education coordinators, support assessment days including schedule rooms and proctors, and provide day-of assistance as needed
* Manage all pharmacy courses Google calendars
* Provide administrative support for all PED guest lecturers
* Manage textbooks for the PharmD program and make recommendations on future processes
* Order course and PED office supplies
* Makes recommendations to improve inefficiencies and effectiveness of business operations in the PED administrative office to best align with PED's overall strategic goals

TA/Tutoring Program Coordinator (30%)
* Coordinates graduate teaching assistant (GTA) duties across WTL blocks and ensures consistency in support services
Collaborate with Education Coordinators to coordinate GTA staffing of in-class support including recordings, active learning sessions, GTA bullpen and student and faculty support
Manage TA/tutor absences, coordinating backup support solutions to maintain uninterrupted services
* Communicates GTA assignments in support of electives, PLC, and minor programs

PCLC Support (30%)
* Serve as administrative point person for student and instructor requests for assistance with supplies and PCLC equipment.
* Maintain an adequate inventory of materials, supplies, and equipment for use in PCLC instruction.
* Maintain the learning areas for use in specific simulations, activities, or workshops.
* Serves as PCLC liaison with University of Minnesota Facilities Management to provide logistical support of the physical space, equipment, and furnishings in PCLC.
* Serve as the PCLC representative on the Lab Safety Committee, and other committees as needed.
* Provide administrative support to the PCLC teaching team as needed

Working Conditions
Office environment/no specific or unusual physical or environmental demands.

This role is offered as an on-site only position on our Twin Cities campus. A specific schedule will be determined between upon hire.

Qualifications

Required
* BA/BS or a combination of related education and work experience to equal 4 years
* Previous experience working in a large, complex department/organization with multiple units
* Experience serving as the primary point of contact and interface in an environment that includes a large number of customers
* Ability to work within and across teams
* Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
* Excellent organizational skills/attention to detail
* Ability to plan, organize and manage multiple projects with competing deadlines

Preferred
* Experience in curriculum operations and/or student support experience
* Experience in a professional health program
* Ability to understand, interpret, and apply policy

Pay Range: $52,000- $58,000; depending on education/qualifications/experience
