Job Description

The Center for Child Well-Being within the Department of Psychiatry in School of Medicine seeks a Logistics and Training Assistant for a part-time opportunity. This position will work on projects dedicated to improving the mental health and well-being of children across Missouri.

Essential responsibilities include:

* Provide real-time support to trainers during virtual sessions, including taking attendance, troubleshooting technical issues, sharing resources (e.g., training documents, referral forms, calendars), and ensuring a smooth training experience
* Proven ability to address and respond effectively to people's concerns with professionalism and empathy
* Assist with the preparation and shipping of training materials by organizing, sorting, stacking inventory, and packing items for mailing
* Perform general office tasks related to ongoing projects, such as preparing and sending outreach materials via traditional mail
* Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all tasks
* Proficient in Zoom for virtual meetings and Microsoft Outlook for communication and scheduling
* Physically capable of lifting and handling boxes weighing up to 50 lbs
* Reliable transportation to and from office location
* Reliable home internet / reliable methods of communication.

Shift

Schedules will vary, with approximately 95% of trainings occurring during evenings and Saturday mornings. Team members must also be available during business hours on a variable basis to assist with in-office tasks such as preparing and mailing materials and supporting outreach projects.

Preferred Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Proficient with Zoom & Microsoft Office, comfortable using and learning new digital tools and platforms, detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
1 year experience working in an office environment.

Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary Range: $15 - 20 hourly
Grade: GGS - MKT
University Title: TEMPORARY TECHNICAL
