Customer Service Representative

Pay Rate: $21.77/hour

Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Location: Bethlehem, PA, 100% onsite during training; will transition to hybrid


Position Summary

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be a key liaison between Evident and its customers-both internal and external-ensuring total customer satisfaction. This role involves entering orders, handling service requests, and providing timely, professional support. You will also serve as the voice of the customer, helping Evident understand and fulfill their equipment needs.


Primary Responsibilities


  • Serve customers at all levels by assisting with requests related to Evident products.



  • Accurately process transactions, including sales orders, with a high degree of attention to detail.



  • Maintain accurate data in the CRM system.



  • Collaborate with internal departments such as Order Fulfillment, Planning, Manufacturing, Finance, and Shipping to ensure timely delivery and resolution of customer inquiries.



  • Proactively follow up on all transactions to ensure customer satisfaction.



  • Demonstrate a complete understanding of the end-to-end order process and act on each step with urgency and professionalism.



  • Provide courteous, customer-focused support on inbound and outbound calls.



  • Meet individual and team KPIs on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.



  • Work independently and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.



  • Support special projects as assigned.




Qualifications
Minimum Requirements


  • Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent



  • Experience: 3-5 years in a business environment; prior customer service experience preferred



  • Skills:




    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer service focus



    • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment



    • Familiarity with ERP and CRM systems



    • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and related applications



    • High attention to detail and a strong work ethic



    • Positive attitude with the ability to foster teamwork and collaboration






Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience with SAP ERP systems



  • Experience using Salesforce CRM
