YOUR ROLE

We are currently looking for Automated Driving Senior Algorithm Developer to work in our Troy, MI location. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing cutting edge technology for automated driving systems.

In your daily job you will:

• Responsible for the evaluation and management of customer requirements, change requests
• Algorithm development for Automated Driving features, e.g. Lane Keep Assist, Lane Centering, Assisted Lane Change, Adaptive Cruise Control, etc.
• Responsible to prepare and execute Design Reviews & Peer Reviews in compliance with PDP process.
• Validate the design and improve the performance in simulated and real world environments
• In-Vehicle testing and debugging with rapid-prototyping and data analysis tools
• Monitoring that engineering execution is following standard work and best practices. The work products comply with applicable organization policies and procedures.
• Responsible for coordination and delivery of the product solution hand-over to customer at milestones

YOUR BACKGROUND

Key skills and competencies for succeeding in this role are:

• Master's degree in Engineering or relevant field
• 3+ years' experience in Automated Driving algorithm design and implementation
• Proficiency in developing and implementing algorithms in Simulink/Matlab/Stateflow
• Knowledge of vehicle dynamics, vehicle control, numerical methods and statistic methods
• Excellent communication skills, planning / organizing skills
• Proficiency on technical reporting and summary
• Team oriented and self-driven, ability to network & collaborate with multiple stakeholders in a matrixed organization

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• PhD in Engineering or relevant field
• 5+ years' experience in Automated Driving algorithm design and implementation
• Real-world L2 or higher level automated driving system development
• Experience with C/C++
• Knowledge of perception side of automated driving
