The Role Suffolk Design is seeking a Design Technology Manager to support and advance the firm's digital design capabilities. Based in Boston, this role is intended for an early-intermediate career professional with strong technical expertise, a proactive mindset, and a desire to contribute to both the foundational and innovative aspects of BIM management and computational design. This position plays a critical role in day-to-day project delivery by managing BIM tools and workflows, maintaining Revit standards and libraries, and enabling high-quality, consistent digital documentation. Simultaneously, the role offers opportunities for deeper collaboration with Suffolk's design technology and innovation teams to implement automation, AI integration, and process efficiencies that contribute to broader business goals. Candidate Profile The ideal candidate brings a blend of technical proficiency, initiative, and strong communication skills. A solid foundation in BIM management, particularly Revit, is essential, along with experience or strong interest in computational design and workflow automation. This individual demonstrates the ability to manage detailed production tasks while also thinking critically about how to improve systems and processes over time. A collaborative mindset, eagerness to learn, and comfort working across disciplines are key. Experience delivering training or user support is highly valued, as this role supports the upskilling of Suffolk Design team members and promotes adherence to firm-wide digital standards. Integrates computational design tools with BIM standards and workflows to support design teams, ensuring alignment with project requirements and firm-wide digital practices.
