Job Description: Asst. Director of Project Accounting

Responsibilities and Duties

Manages assigned Initiatives utilizing project plans to ensure completion of all required tasks and addresses project risk appropriately to drive results.
Provides updates to senior management for project status and accounting impacts associated with Initiatives.
Assists in preparation/updating of Project Accounting internal training and guidelines for Director of Project Accounting review - to ensure accounting personnel have access to current accounting policies.
Schedule Training for New Hires utilizing Project Accounting Managers as Trainers where applicable.
Co-Manages ERP System, Customer Portals, and Financial HelpDesk.
Prepares assigned Weekly Project Accounting Reports assigned.
Monitor data integrity through Deltek VantagePoint and DOMO reporting tools.
Provides supporting documentation and other materials to external auditors in conjunction with the completion of required audits.
Assists with Mergers and Acquisitions - Data crosswalks, CSV uploads, Validation, Training, and Unbilled AR Reconciliation
Other duties as assigned

What we're looking for:

Applies standard GAAP and accounting data analysis methods; makes recommendations to improve practices or procedures in compliance with GAAP
Bachelor's Degree- Business Administration, Accounting, Finance - Preferred
Experience with data analysis and project management tools - Preferred
Experience with ERP Accounting Systems - Deltek Vision/VantagePoint Preferred
Experience with acquisition integration and divestment - Preferred

The anticipated range for this position is $135,000 - $145,000, dependent on experience and location.
