Systems Engineer (Commercial Application Integration) - Clearance Required

Job Description:

Cydecor is seeking a Systems Engineer (Commercial Application Integration) to provide technical expertise and support for the integration, deployment, and optimization of commercial applications within a virtualized environment. This role supports the U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) G7 directorate and plays a key role in advancing technical capabilities to meet mission-critical objectives.

Responsibilities include:

• Deliver subject matter expertise for the deployment, integration, and optimal use of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) applications, including but not limited to:
  • VMware vCenter
  • Omnissa Horizon
  • Omnissa App Volumes
  • Omnissa Dynamic Environment Manager
  • VMware Aria Operations
• Research, evaluate, and implement emerging technologies and policy updates to improve system operations and ensure compliance with DoD regulations.
• Provide support for automated deployment and configuration of virtualized servers and workstations.
• Collaborate with Tier III support teams and external stakeholders to troubleshoot issues related to commercial applications and associated virtual machines.
• Coordinate with INSCOM G7 to support future development initiatives and deliver timely technical solutions.
• Perform pre-deployment functionality testing to ensure compliance with Department of Defense cybersecurity standards.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, implementation guides, and deployment procedures for Tier III personnel.
• Prepare and deliver technical briefings, white papers, and executive-level summaries for senior Army and Intelligence Community (IC) leadership.

Here's what you need:

• Extensive hands-on experience with VMware vCenter, Omnissa Horizon, Omnissa App Volumes, Omnissa Dynamic Environment Manager, and VMware Aria Operations.
• Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel up to 10% to support INSCOM G7 mission requirements.
• CompTIA Security+ (required prior to start)

Security Clearance:

• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance required. Must be willing to undergo a CI polygraph to obtain and maintain NSAnet access.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree and nine (9) years of relevant experience
• OR Master's degree and seven (7) years of relevant experience
• OR PhD/JD and four (4) years of relevant experience
• Four (4) additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree.

Work Schedule:

• Onsite: Monday - Friday, 8 hours each day.
