Overview

Element has an opportunity for a Customer Service Representative (CSR), primarily responsible for handling straightforward price and requests for quotes (RFQ's) from our customers via email or over the phone and following up on pending or issued quotations.

The ideal candidate must be customer focused, action oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This is a great opportunity to grow your career in the Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) industry.

Pay range: $24 - $29/hr. + sales commission plan

Location: Onsite



Responsibilities

Customer Engagement:

    Proactively communicate with potential and existing customers via phone, email, and web conferencing to build rapport and understand service requirements.

Sales Process Execution:

  • Qualify leads and identify customer needs.
  • Develop tailored solutions and present offerings effectively.
  • Close sales and convert opportunities into long-term accounts.

Quoting & Invoicing:

  • Respond to straightforward quotation inquiries for standard products and services.
  • Utilize standard price lists to provide accurate pricing and lead times.
  • Process sales invoices and provide timely status updates to clients.

CRM Management:

  • Actively use the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to log activities.
  • Maintain accurate contact details, eliminate duplicates, and ensure comprehensive call/visit records.

Sales Goals & Account Penetration:

  • Achieve individual sales targets by converting leads and expanding existing accounts.

Product Knowledge & Training:

  • Build and maintain a strong understanding of Element Materials Technology's service offerings. Participate in ongoing training and coaching sessions.


Skills / Qualifications

  • Demonstrated customer service & quoting experience
  • Ability to interpret documents such as customer quotes, contracts, marketing materials, and customer testing specifications
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Solid written and verbal communication
  • Ability to solve practical customer problems
  • Experience interpreting testing procedures and requirements desired
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office applications + CRM
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and prioritize deadlines
  • A valid driver's license, with an acceptable driving record under Element's policy
  • Ability to be onsite 5 days a week
