Under direct supervision of the Clinical Director/Administrator, this Team Lead Unlicensed entry-level management position supervises multidisciplinary teams, coordinates service needs, and collaborates with other services and agencies. Fulfills appropriate level of services for new members served as outlined in the essential functions.

Shifts Available:

Full-Time 40 hrs per week | Approx 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM but can vary | Days: Monday - Friday with After Hours Crisis Availability

Expected starting wage range is $72,808.63 - $89,871.72. Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.

What You Bring to the Table (Must Have)



  • Registered with the CA Board of Behavioral Sciences; Must have ASW, AMFT, or APCC. Must be valid and current.
  • A Master's Degree in Social Sciences
  • One (1) year supervisory experience required or supervisory training within six (6) months of employment

Program Type: Permanent Supportive Housing

To Make Referrals: All referrals to Valley Vista PSH are prioritized and matched by the region's Coordinated Entry System (CES).

# of Units: 190

Who We Serve: Adults aged 18 and older experiencing homelessness or are at risk of homelessness and have a disabling condition substantially limiting one or more major life activities (as defined by HUD Category 1).

Hours of Operation: Monday-Saturday, 8:00 am-7:00 pm

About the Program: In partnership with San Diego Behavioral Health Services and the San Diego Housing Commission, Telecare offers onsite supportive and case management services for persons residing at Valley Vista Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH).

Service participation is voluntary and not required to reside at Valley Vista PSH. Telecare works with tenants to engage them in services according to their behavioral health and case management needs. Services are provided throughout the community based on preference: onsite in community space, in your unit, or in the community, if appropriate. These services focus on housing stability and retention, including but not limited to:



  • Outreach and engagement services addressing housing stabilization and case management needs.
  • Behavioral health assessment, screening, care coordination, and referrals for residents at high risk and in need of more intensive behavioral health services to maintain housing.
  • Addressing ongoing behavioral health care coordination needs.
  • Offering site-wide community integration opportunities (BBQs, celebrations, tenant education, and other groups).
