The Upfront Review Supervisor is responsible for quality review of all pertinent customer information for accuracy and completeness in order to meet payer requirements for timely and maximum reimbursement.
* Maintains extensive knowledge of all guidelines and policies set forth by each insurance payer to ensure compliance and timely reimbursement * Ensures that department has evaluated all received documents to ensure that appropriate information has been obtained to allow for successful accounts receivable * Manages timely completion * Communicates with office staff, department members, and centers to resolve questions, inconsistencies, or missing data * Reviews various reports for quality assurance * Ensures staff is recording all activity relating to account in tickler files * Supports operating centers by providing training to ensure compliance and completeness of paperwork submitted to the regional billing and collection office (RBCO) * Assists management in the implementation of new policies and procedures relating to compliance * Supports RBCO collection process and active communication with AR Supervisors * Prioritizes and distributes assigned work in the UFR Department * Provides training * Possible travel into field * Interviews and hires in UFR Department #CC |
