Overview About the Position VHB is seeking an experienced transportation engineer to join our growing Transportation Systems team as a Senior Project Manager and Safety & Active Transportation Lead in Atlanta, GA. This role is ideal for an experienced traffic engineer with a strong background in project management, safety, active transportation, multi-modal traffic analysis and design, and local government and statewide programs, particularly with GDOT. You'll work with public and private clients on high-impact projects ranging from planning, concept development studies and multimodal design, to complex traffic operations and federally-funded safety studies across the Southeast. Key Responsibilities:
Serve as Project Manager and Task Lead on traffic studies, safety projects, and multimodal design projects overseeing schedules, budgets, deliverables, and quality assurance.
