Job Summary

The RBC US Enterprise Value Creation (US EVC) team is a high-impact, strategy-driven function that is dedicated to driving sustainable, long-term value across RBC's businesses in the U.S., our Second Home Market. Rooted in a rigorous and results-oriented mindset at the intersection of strategy, execution, and governance, the team identifies and executes initiatives that deliver measurable financial and operational outcomes, and works closely with Lines of Business and Functional Units leadership teams to ensure that value creation is both impactful and enduring.

The US EVC team offers a rare opportunity to apply your expertise in a dynamic, multi-business environment within a leading global financial institution. As part of this high-performing team, you will collaborate with senior executives and leaders to tackle complex challenges, drive transformative initiatives, and deliver measurable results. The role provides high visibility and exposure to executive-level decision-making and diverse business models, while enabling you to hone critical skills in financial analysis, operational improvement, and strategic execution.

Working with the Director, US EVC and collaborating closely with senior leaders across the organization, the Associate Director, US Enterprise Value Creation will own key components of high impact initiatives and governance items aimed at driving revenue growth, operational efficiency, cost optimization, and long-term value creation. The Associate Director will be responsible for developing actionable insights, managing governance frameworks, and supporting the execution of critical strategic initiatives. With a focus on execution and results, the Associate Director will play a key role in shaping the organization's future while building expertise in value creation levers and strategic execution.

Job Description

What will you do?

  • Lead and support components of high-impact initiatives including revenue growth strategies, operational efficiency improvements, and capital deployment within the U.S. portfolio; drive workstreams to ensure milestones are achieved and measurable value is delivered
  • Contribute to the development and management of governance frameworks that ensure alignment between corporate priorities, the US Executive Committee, andsubsidiary execution
  • Support the preparation of materials for governance forums, including Board meetings and senior leadership reviews, with a focus on clarity, actionable insights, and alignment with regional and Enterprise strategic priorities
  • Monitor the progress of key initiatives, providing updates on performance metrics, risks, and value delivery to senior stakeholders
  • Conduct in-depth analyses of internal performance data and external market trends to identify opportunities for value creation and operational improvement, and present findings to senior leadership in a clear, concise, and compelling manner
  • Build strong relationships with Line of Business and Functional teams to foster alignment, collaboration, and buy-in on strategic priorities and governance activities
  • Lead and supportthe development of tools, processes, and frameworks that enhance the team's ability to deliver results efficiently

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Strong problem solver and analytical thinker, typically with 6-10 years of experiencein financial services, management consulting, private equity, investment banking, or corporate strategy, or similar fields
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a focus on delivering measurable results
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex data into compelling, actionable insights
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence stakeholders at various levels of the organization
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment with competing priorities

Nice-to-have

  • MBAor graduate/post-graduate or professional designations or equivalent
  • Direct background in the U.S. banking, capital markets, and wealth management sectors, with hands-on understanding ofindustry dynamics and regulatory frameworks
  • Experience working in or with a multi-business financial services portfolio is strongly preferred

The expected salary range for this particular position is $110,000-$190,000, depending on your experience, skills, and registration status, market conditions and business needs. You have the potential to earn more through RBC's discretionary variable compensation program which gives you an opportunity to increase your total compensation, provided the business meets its performance targets and you meet your individual goals.
